Are there any tools similar to Second life's prim editor that I can use to make maps with?

For those of you who are familiar with second life's World editing tools for creating user generated content such as buildings, you will remember how simple and easy they are to use....
basically I'm looking for a tool that is a complete replacement for hammer sdk, a tool that will really let me get my hands dirty and see my changes in engine in real time just like in second life...
I want to be able to easily create and deform complex geometry and architecture and primitive models all with ease.
I guess SL pretty much spoiled me heh... umm.. is there a way to export sl primwork to the source engine? if anyone out there knows please post your information ^_^
for me using hammer ... i don't know.. Hammer just feel's so very limiting and primative
If there was something like that for the source engine everyone would be using it instead of hammer :v:
Gonna have to learn the program, it's a frustrating thing.
I use 3ds Max to build levels and assets. You don't see the changes in the engine without compiling first, but you are not stuck in Hammer.

Considering the sort of fanbase SL has, seeing these two phrases in the same post made me visualize awful things
and hear awful things
Everything is easy to use once you learn it. Hammer is no exception, and doesn't make me think of the smell of bloody prostates, so it's what I'd recommend learning.
