Gm_Mountain_House - Developers

Sorry, named the thread wrong, It's supposed to be Gm_Mountain_House not Gm_Mountain_Village. Sorry Gm_Mountain_House I realized that I was doing mapping projects way above my league, so I decided to make something smaller such as a house. This is the second map that I have finished. It took me about 35 hours to do in total, over a number of weeks. There really is no point of it, mainly for eye candy or you can play on it. !!!YOU NEED HALF LIFE 2 EPISODE 2 and COUNTER STRIKE SOURCE TO PLAY THIS!!! Here are some pictures. Your welcome, turned out quite nice, missing skirting boards around the rooms however and the bathroom lighting is a bit meh, very good for you though considering it's taken you a while to get to grips with hammer.

Haha yeah, Realized that. My dad says It's been transported. Haha, But I forgot to take a updated picture of it, I knew the tree was like that, It is fixed in game though.

So...where's the mountain?(Except for the skybox)

It is the skybox (Not good with names, and couldn't think of anything else)

Although your map is neat, reconsider the map name. It is nothing even close to a mountain house, It's even on a 100% flat surface There is no hints in the map that it is even close to mountains. I though I would see a wooden lodge on the side of a snowy mountain with pretty hard access or something. Just for thought! Dont make a mid-day map, having a stormy, cloudy, dark look on your map makes it quite a lot better. Better skybox, [URL="http://www.redsorceress.com/skybox.html"]This link[/URL] has some good ones, I'd suggest Cotton candy and Dark Gloom, Also Frozen dusk would look nice, but then you have to add snow.
