This is a CS:S map that i have made it is the first one of my maps to be released so i am pretty excited. I pretty much stopped working on it but i might finish it if people like it. Looks alright I guess, a bit blocky at the moment and the textures in the staircase are too repetitive and not correctly aligned.
Textures are very repetitive. Needs more detail i.e. trash cans and such. Edit: add power cables/pylon things.
The lights don't match up with the lightposts.
Shit those are some tall lamp posts. And I doubt there would be that many on a small section of street. But anyway, pretty much what everyone else said. More detail, align textures, improve lighting (maybe increase the amount of ambient light in the light_environment entity) and improve brush-work (especially that door bit on the CT spawn roof. I dunno what the hell happened with that. o_O).
Thanks for all youre comments! I think ill wait some time before i release something. And i might start on a new project :) I wanna make some better enviromental effects does anyone have som tutorials?
The roads doesnt seems big enough to fit cars, try to make them bigger and compare the width of them with a car model.
Really doesn't look any spectacular,the lighting is bad,and bad textures use.
