What to map? - Developers - Facepunch Forum

I know how to map. I've been doing it for a very long time. I'm just having this massive mental block on pretty much anything creative. So I ask of you FP, what should I create in Hammer?

Do you want to make an RP map with me, I have started it and I think I have a good idea on what I want this RP map to be about but I just need some help finishing it. Would you like to??

Make a TTT map, there hasn't been a good map out in quite a while (Catacombs looks nice but it has gameplay issues). I have well over 500 hours played in TTT and I'm having a hard time finding new maps to try out. If you're not a fan of TTT, just do anything but a huge RP map. There are far too many of them that are created and never used despite being incredible maps. There just isn't any demand for them, 95% of RP servers run Dark RP/PERP with the same 2 maps.

I was working on a TTT map, but my hard drive crashed and I lost all my files...even after attempting to back everything up. Right now I'm just working on a map for the heck of it. Who knows what it might turn into.
