I made a new map that uses env_projectedtexure(known as flashlight lighting).good for posing it has cave with a metal hut and rooms that is made for shopping or rebel sleeping room
You need to work on your lighting. - Light is not white in most circumstances. In an underground tunnel like that, you would be looking at either a dirt yellow or browny colour. - Learn how to use the light entities to create shape and light. The light on the wall with a conical beam looks silly. It would look better with a standard light entity roughly in the centre of the corridor. Textures - On areas such as gantries, borders should be used to detract from the fact that grate textures can look a little odd. - Metal sections shouldn't bend like that. It depends on how the hole was made. If it was made by a large object falling through, the metal would be twisted as well. Metal tracks all bent in exactly the same manner looks odd. - You have a tunnel area immediately under the main tunnel. Doing that is asking for problems due to vibrations etc.
The lighting looks really good I think. But I agree the "cone" lighting doesnt fit being that it is coming from a ceiling light. Now if it were slits in the top of the ceiling and that was sunlight then what you have would look natural. As with the rest of the map, all looks really good. Good job
