Posted something similar today but I've installed propper 0.3 into my sourcesdk/bin/orangebox/bin directory. The propper_model and propper_lod entities are there..
But when I go into the run map section there's no "Propper" option in the configurations tab. So when I attempt to compile it just compiles normally like I'm making a map instead of a model.
Am I doing/done something wrong?
that's because you need to create the compile configuration for yourself
copy what the VDC has down:

[editline]3rd October 2011[/editline]
propper.exe -game $gamedir -nocompile -logging -nomaterials $path\$file
This is what mine looks like, is that correct:

Is this one better:

No, not at all. You're not supposed to add that to an already existing configuration. Erase that one from "default", click Edit, and make a new one.
A Propper model isn't a map and a map isn't a Propper model. Therefore it doesn't make sense to compile your model as a map and as a model afterwards. Create a new, blank entry, then do the same as you did before.

There you go.
Just one more thing, it's creating the model I just get this: Failed to create SMD file! Make sure the folder exists. I have it set as c:/propsource in the config settings for the model.
Did you make a propsource folder in c:\
The folder where the finished model will be placed in (the one in the game folder) must exist as well.

This is the end of the compile log: Writing c:\propsource\models/Luke_ref.smd
Failed to create SMD file! Make sure the folder exists.
Go ahead and create said 'propsource' folder under C:/. I don't believe it will do it automatically for you.

It's still doing it even though I have the folder under C:/.

Do you mind posting a screenshot of your propper_model's keyvalues?

Can I add you on Steam to talk about it?
