Okay so, my displacements on the ground, that are meant to look like hills, have shadows on the sides, as if they are casting shadows under them. How could I go by fixing that?

I am running on very few minutes so I cannot post a screenshot. But I'll try to make myself more understand able. It seems the displacements I have put down on the ground, are making, shadows. This may be caused by a part of the displacement being above the ground though, I will try my best to fix it.

Only make the top face of the brush into a displacement. Select all other faces and click the "Remove" button in the displacement editor. It should then work.
