My 4th Completed map, mainly finished due to the absence of Wommle.
It's a small developer themed roleplay map, and everyone who helped me test it (Cooco) Agrees it's very cosy

Agreed, it is cozy, it's very nice and its simple
This reminds me of the map DEVcity.
It is simple... but yeah maybe too simple. Looks like a lot of shift+copy action going on. Needs more variation in the architecture. Can't critique your textures since it is dev so I will critique your architecture. You used a lot of curves... which is good but everything looks the same besides a couple buildings. Needs dev foliage too.
I'll try to make version 2 have a bit more variation, although i might just start a new map altogether, as this one is a bit crap now i come to think of it.

It´s simple but I really like it
Kind of small and not a lot to do in it, but at least I get in the credits just for going to Italy :D
What it really needs, is some dev buildings around the outside, or a 3D skybox, just to make it seem less "empty", for want of a better word.
It could use some materials...
What it really needs... are real textures. Developer textures are placeholder textures, not meant for release. Trust me, if you really take you time with the textures, you can make this map look a whole lot better.

Although things look a bit too spaced out and a bit too big, it looks pretty good. Maybe worth a RP or two.
I have one problem with the jail.
The prisoners inside could break the glass, and kill themselves.
Put unbreakable glass there, or put the metal grating on the inside of the window, that's the only one you really need anyway.

1. tied the brush to a Func_door!
2. He must of borrowed or made the vending machine by using brushes

They are custom textures that are zipped into the map, nothing fancy or anything.
Also you could have pm'ed me instead of bumping the thread :V

The skybox looks stretched and raped.
It needs something in the middle, maybe some more shops, a park, I don't know.

why use dev? it makes me so angry when i see DEV textured maps, dev textured maps are unfinished.
It is finished, it's just the "style".
He said he might make a V2 with more varied architecture, but the DEV textures stay.

It is used to make a map without having to add textures yet.

People, people. The map is called Rp_[highlight]SIMPLECITY[/highlight]. It's meant to be SIMPLE. The DEV textures are what makes it so cool.
