• Error-like reflection.

When playing my map is works great in EP2 but in gmod it will occasionally start to look like this. Put an env_cubemap somewhere, or type buildcubemaps as one of the parameters, although I don't know if that is of any use.
From the Hammer dev wiki: "In some games, there are no default cubemaps, so all reflective surfaces will show the missing content texture, which resembles a pink and black checkerboard. To fix this you will need to build cubemaps manually as described further on."
This happens if you disconnect, then tab out, make some changes and then re-tab back in and load the map. Either A: place cubemaps and type buildcubemaps like NitroDC said, or, just do mat_reloadallmaterials.
