Introducing, my newest Star Wars map, Mustafar! If you've seen Episode III, you'll know where this is. If not, it's an entire planet covered in lava. I would like some of your guys' opinions! First Thought WOW!!!! After Thoughts The Buildings in the first part of this video look excellently put together, but as the video progresses we get to some buildings with spherical tops. Theses buildings seem blocky and have odd textures, this can be easily fixed however so no big deal. The inside of you space crafts look amazingly well put together, but they lack decent lighting in the cockpit area. I would recommend adding a bright light and a trigger block so when you walk into the cockpit the light will switch on. Having the trigger block will reduce lag because the light will be off when not in use and the light will give the area a more high tech feel. I recommend a soft red, green, or futuristic blue light.
Having the trigger block will reduce lag because the light will be off when not in use
You clearly have no idea how lights work in source.
You clearly have no idea how lights work in source.
He probably thinks that because lights in GMod lag.
A lot of these seem to be inspired by Outcast and Academy, they look good. Keep up the great work!

What server do you play on?
I just play on random servers, not any one specificly. There is one i'm going to be playing on soon, that's going to host these maps once they're done but it's a secret!

I asked that because lots of your screenshots looked like they were heavily inspired by SWG as a reference. :P
Ahhh, yes. Star Wars Galaxies is a big inspiration too, you can obviously see that from one specific map... I used to play on Bloodfin, i'm actually thinking of playing again because I have over 100 pre-NGE stuffed animals and I don't really want to waste them...
Could you upload pictures? Youtube is blocked where I'm right now :v:
Yeah sure, let me go get some...
Where are the train tracks :saddowns:
Updated the OP with pictures
Cool, I can see Star Wars RP being quite effective. Espicially with those SW player-models! :D I can't wait!
Looks nice for a start. Work on those maps a bit longer, and they will be quite nice(add better lights).
If you want I can give you a hand. Steam name cold_and_frozen
lol, i only remember all these places from starwars: battlefront 2, but still EXCELLENT work
The death start looks very nice, the other ones seem a bit blocky. Try adding more details to the maps, like a little garbage, maybe a couple of signs, Star wars fonts on walls and stuff. Keep up this work.
Thanks for all the feedback guys, and any help, as i said, will be accepted.

Bro, I'm here to make you a deal, I'll port and model from any mod from the "Star Wars: Jedi Knight" series. Hell, I'll even port map textures for you. I love your WIP maps. But I'm not a fan of the brushwork vehicles/etc. I've found some great Snowspeeders you could use for your Hoth map. I really do hope I could be of use to you.
Oh man if you could do that for me that would be just amazing. Any models you could find would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advanced.
Woo, if you need anything else just let me know.
Yes sir, thanks again by the way. Models will be a VERY BIG help to me!
coolness, these should definitely be finished and released, they look awesome.
I'm currently making a bunch of Star Wars maps, maybe to be used in roleplay, or just posing or something. Not sure quite yet, but tell me what you think/what I can improve on/if you would like to help. I would really appreciate it if anyone would like to assist me in making this, such as making buildings etc... Images
The brush work is quite nice, but you really need to work on the texture work imo :)
I understand that some of the maps need the textures to be fixed up, but the first one (Tatooine) is almost perfect...
Tatooine does look great, but they didn't have grey concrete roofs. KOTOR is my favorite game on the XBox. The first and second ruled.
They're ok, but large parts look quite sloppy. The first map needs to be brighter because of the whole twin sun thing.
we are going to need this very soon (for people on a specific thread :v:)
