Ok, I have this problem, that I want to make a beach for my level.
I wanna fade from grass to sand via a blend texture. But I can't find any. The closest I can get to it is a texture that looks like small pieces of wood or something. It really doesn't look good.
Maybe there's one in Episode 2, haven't checked, but will that create an error or something for people without Episode 2? And if, do I have to make everyone have that texture, like with pakrat or something?

There are plenty in HL2 from Sandtraps and Highway 17, the thumbnails will mislead you. Look at the names on blend textures.
When I search "sand" or "blend" nothing comes up except some rock and grass blends.
