hi, i am making a map of my school and i just started mapping on hammer. i used the prop_physics entity to make some foilage things such as a tree and bushes. when i compile and run the map on hl2, the things dont show up. am i doing something wrong? please help me!
You can't use prop_physics for foliage. When selecting a model in the Model Browser, check the Info tab to see what the model can be used for. Use prop_static for foliage.

Set the model as non-solid. There's a key-value for it in the model properties.

by see it sometimes i mean you cannot look directly at it but at some angles you can see some of it

Ok...little known fact time.
In the ifo tab of the prop in the model browser there is a series of checkboxes. The bramble you are using is listed as being able to be static and dynamic. Due to something in hammer, this means that it can only be a dynamic. So...rule of thumb. If it is listed as being a static and something else (dynamic or physics), use the other prop type. Only if it says that it can only be a static, should it be made a static.
So...in conclusion, the bramble you are using needs to be a prop_dynamic or it will not work.

ive made maps before though, but its just the bushes and trees that dont work!

Use [noparse][code][/code][/noparse] tags.
The only thing I see is that vvis is on fast, but that shouldn't cause it, whats the tree model name?

Make it a prop_static or a prop_dynamic and it should work fine, it did for me.
Also, use the code tags on the compile log not on the model name, so please edit that post.
