I created it largely as a mood/scene piece, and was hapy enough with it to release it Has custom content included, HDR, soundscapes, and NPC nodes. Feel free to suggest ideas, and things to fix or add, I do plan on extending this map later on. Wow man, nice map! Good work :)
Nice little map, good work. I don't know if you have already, but looking at the first image it seems like the street lights may be set to the incorrect model type. They look like they are switched off, change them to the version where the light is on.
These streetlamps didn't seem to feature an "on variant"
Are they source models or custom?
Source models, they are the set of multiple rusted lamposts under props_canal
When you view the model entity there should be a sub-tab called 'Skins' which you can use to edit the skin of the model. IE; turn the lamp to the 'ON' model.
I've made many maps for source, I know how to change skins, these lampposts just don't have an "on" skin, they were only used in the canal level of HL2, during the day, so I suppose an on skin was just not needed. The only skin they have is for the level of rust on the lampposts

Suggestions: Change your lighting in both color and brightness, add fog, add some sort of disruption on the road itself because it looks pretty clean and untouched in spite of the scene. Can you also take a picture of the skybox? It just look like a flat orange gradient. I would also suggest choosing vehicle models that look a bit more destroyed/damaged. The one nearly perfect van with it's steering wheel on fire looks odd. Add some more overhang over the sidewalks, right now the buildings just look like two flat walls that boarder the street. Use awnings/geometric detail try using AC units and other rooftop machinery as well. Also not really understanding the tunnels you have made. there would be some sort of overpass or something over them to facilitate travel through the city. Maybe make one of the tunnel 'shutters' broken and partially opened with some sort of green or blue lighting on the other side? Right now everything is really dark and monochromatic so you're losing a lot of detail. There is nothing I feel like I'm supposed to look at other than the cars on fire.
