I opened hammer and when I open a new map every viewport is black and there are one or two thin white lines crossing the box. However when I load an existing map all viewprots are black and the camera one is white.
Please help I cant do anything and one of my maps needs to be fixed.

This has been said so many times now..
1. Open Source SDK.
2. Select the 2009 engine.
3. Double left-click "Edit Game Configurations"
4. In the new window, click "Add"
5. For the name, type "Half-Life 2: Episode two" (Without the "")
6. For the directory, click browse and select your ep2 folder. (steamname/half-life 2 episode two/ep2)
7. Click "OK" then "OK" again.
8. If the game you added is not shown in the 2009 engine, select a different engine then go back to the 2009 engine, select your game.
9. Run hammer.
10. Map.
