I coded a map (It's a Portal 2 map), and the lights sucks at it, they are not natural at all and everything is
bright as hell. I tried using mat_fullbright 0 but it stays at 1.
What's the problem?
-I did make a light in my map but still nothing.
Have you got a light_environment entity in your map?
I don't think so, only light.
You need at least one light entity in the map for light to render.

I have one.
Entity light (490.00 -161.00 24.00) leaked!
So...the map must be surrounded by solid world brushes, not entities, water or displacements.
You also need to be running vrad.

Also, you don't "code" maps.
