You need to decompile the map first, it can be done using BSPSource but I recommend using this tool only to learn and look through the VMF's as decompiling the map can leave quite a few errors with it

I used it but when I open the decompiled bsp in hammer nothing is there.
Either you did something wrong or the author added something to keep the map from being decompiled. Any way, you should always ask the author of the map for the files, that way you can be sure he's fine with you editing his stuff.
BSPSource is typically pretty good at decompiling obfuscated maps, so he probably did something wrong.
If you continue to have problems, you might consider using VMEX (Valve Map Extractor). It doesn't work well with newer maps, but it's an alternative.
I have yet to encounter a map that cant be decompiled with bspsrc
if you get a map that crashes at 33% delete its prop_ragdolls from vmf
What map are you decompiling?

gm_flatgrass probably
You probably shouldn't be decompiling maps without permission. even if you do get it to work, there will mistakes to fix and you have to do optimization again.
