• Hammer Skybox Error!?!

Ok well when I put the skybox in the map it shows up as the actual in hammer texture. I don't know what to do. FIXED! :D here is the thread that will help you: [url]http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?p=22953329#post22953329[/url]
Check that the brush(es) are not tied to an entity.

Select the brushes and press Ctrl + Shift + W. If they are tied to an entity, they will be moved back to the world. Recompile and check that the problem is fixed.

I tried making it hollow and not making it hollow.
Is this happening in-game? If so, try going to map properties and checking if the SkyBox Texture Name field is empty. Maybe this will help, im not sure.
post the compile log and possibly some screenshots plz.

Click on the tools tab at the top left, go to options. On the first tab, there is a cordon texture field. Check to see that it is tools/toolsskybox
He probably chose the tool texture as the skybox in the map properties menu.

I assume you are using source engine 2006 for CS:S. If you are, make a custom configuration for 2009. CS:S uses source engine 2009, you can thank valve for the update it didn't need.
