When I open up Half life 2: Episode 2 under the 2007 engine I try to use the block tool and any other tool and nothing happens the grid lines are not there and the camera screen in blank, I know there was a fix for this but i can't find it, I havn't used SDK in a while.
1. Open Source SDK.
2. Select the 2009 engine.
3. Double left-click "Edit Game Configurations"
4. In the new window, click "Add"
5. For the name, type "Half-Life 2: Episode two" (Without the "")
6. For the directory, click browse and select your ep2 folder. (steamname/half-life 2 episode two/ep2)
7. Click "OK" then "OK" again.
8. If the game you added is not shown in the 2009 engine, select a different engine then go back to the 2009 engine, select your game.
9. Run hammer.
10. Map.
I tried this but now I'm getting the error "The configuration information for the game you're trying to edit is invalid or missing"
I ran the game twice and re-installed SDK which didn't help.
