Kirovcity is a city, It hasn't been finished yet but, it will be released soon. The city includes. Dark Alleys And Courtyards, few enter-able buildings, Trucks you can hide in and a canal slums. Here are some images :)
Though the map may look finished, It isn't. This city is perfect for Scene making or screwing around. It mostly utilizes detail not so much Construction and Roleplaying.

I don't know why but I came in here expecting a tf2 map.
:Dawkins102:
Anyways it looks promising, I hope to see this finished.
That door in Pic 2 is so off scale.

Very.... Halflife 2.

The one opposite of the Cafe Baltic sign is too wide. If its a garage door use another texture.
Should probably using a curb texture for the curb.. instead of a sidewalk texture.
Why cant I start my own thread? I am making a map but I cant open my files. My hammer autosave, anyone knows why?

Both of these images show fluorescent lighting as you can see to be brutal yours is way off, flourecent lighting isn't yellow for a start its pretty much pure white. Secondly it doesn't cast a spot-light-like glow from the middle, it casts a wide beam which lights a wide area, its light is emitted close to the ceiling unless the light is suspended from a pole. A light and a spot_light is not really the way to achieve this, use a spotlight with a wide angle and a wide-ish light sprite close to the model, should provide a better effect. Alternatively change the model you are using to a spot light and angle them at either end of the ceiling inwards towards the middle. On a general note your lighting is pretty bad, you can get away with lighting like yours in older games, but in a smart engine like source poor lighting will make your map look like dog shit no matter how good it is in other parts.
That might seem a tad brutal but don't take it the wrong way its purely meant for constructive criticism.

I Actually took this very helpful. Thank you For your time
But one more question: What do you think of it other than the crappy lighting?

Sorry for the late response, glad you found it helpful.
The map in general seems nice, once you get the lighting sorted it will look pretty damn awesome.
Yeah, as for the flourescents, don't use point_spotlights, use blue-white colored lighting, use bright sprites, don't just use normal light entities - use the light_spots. Sometimes they don't look good, but sometimes they look better than normal lights.
Whoever does your outside light is a genius and I wish to make love to this person.
