Hi guys, So a few months ago, I decided to try and help out with the long time dream of my home server owner's dream of a volcano lair map. I figured building a map for gmod would be easy! (Hahahaha. Heh.) After months of learning everything from scratch and many montage videos in my head? I released a terrible alpha to make use of the players as guinea pigs... but this isn't it! This is the public release of my first map, ttt_volcanolair. I'm proud of the effort I put into it, and emphasis has been heavily placed on visuals, ambience, and optimization. (Yay areaportals) An abandoned research facility nestled deep within a volcano, with dangers waiting around every corner. A visually diverse and atmospheric map designed to provide a broad, diverse experience each time. Traitors can utilize several traps, while innocents can risk the dangerous path to the tester to prove themselves, and pray that the person being tested won't betray them. I like the layout, but the lighting is really dark, especially for gameplay.

Pretty interesting map actually, would you be willing to release the .vmf so I could poke around?
Nice layout but I find that putting an office and a surgery room (?) in a volcano is kinda weird. But this is actually very decent for a first map, just try to improve your map lighting as Turtleey said, and some lights (those in the office) don't seem to come from a lamp (or maybe I don't see), you should change that.
