When working on a map, How many monitors do you use?

Just a bit curious how people use their resources, or whether they don't have extra resources at all.
Two. Big one for mapping, little one for Skype, MSN, Internet, Reference images etc.
I forgot to input my opinion.
I use two. One for the preview window, and the other for the grid window. So basically hammer is stretched across both screens.
Two. My main screen in front of me for Hammer. The other one for Photoshop/texturing/scripting VMT's/browsing the VDC.
^ I'm the same. :)
If I could have multiple monitors, I'd have one for the 3D view in hammer, one for the 2D views, one for firefox and one for spotify.
Unfortunately I only have one, decent screen.
If I'm blocking something out I just go for spanning it across two monitors with the 3d window on my 22" and the 2d grids on my 17" (Both widescreens).
However, if I'm trying to use references, I'm forced to squash into one monitor and it looks weird and is hard to actively detail.
Could use a third monitor.
I only have one monitor, but I can work fine with it. It would be nice to have a second one, but there is no room on this desk really, and I don't think a monitor of a different size would look right to me.
At uni I only have one 22" monitor (cannot fit on my desk/transport/don't want stolen), but at home I use 2 monitors. After using 2, using 1 is a pain, but then I get used to it get home and then am like wow, what shall I do with all this extra space? Generally keep all of hammer together on 1 window then fp/reference images/textures/steam/facebook/msn/skype on the other.
I've never thought about level designing with more than 1 monitor, but it gets annoying switching Hammer and google chrome back and forth to map out a reference. I'll try using another computer for reference pictures and Hammer on this laptop.
I only have one 19" monitor, yet I can fit everything on it. :colbert:
3
1) 23" TV for Hammer
2) 20" monitor for the game
I use the "constant interation" approach to mapping in a sense, wherein I'm constantly re-compiling and making great use of the cordon tool.
Eins
I map on a 16.2" laptop screen and occasionally when I can I steal a 15" desktop screen.
I just use a 21" bravia tv. Low res, but it does the job. I don't bother with reference material anymore...i look at the image every so often, and twist it for my purpose when im not looking at it.
I use two.
21" and a 17"
The 17" is old and not so bright so I map on that, and I use the second for the game and for references.
I would love to have four. Imagine, one for 3d, one for top, one to share both front and side views, and one for reference/internet/ect.

I sadly only have one.
My bigish one is for mapping/engine, my other one has my desktop/reference pictures.

Would take too much mousing to get blocks drawn or things moved.

This, but reversed, my little one runs at 1920x1200 while my other runs at 1360x768 but is 39inches, so I use it for the rest of my things...

Unfortunately for me, I only have a laptop to map on... :(
I have 1 flat-screen monitor + a laptop.
but i use only the flat-screen because i cant go to different program's with them. :v:
I have 1 monitor at the min but I've ordered a second.
I did have another monitor, which was a pain because it was 4 inches smaller than my 22" and it wasn't easy to use. I'm gonna buy another HP 22" soon.
i USE 7 mONITORS WHILE MAPPING BECAUSE i CAN...

I only have one monitor but I'm hoping I can get two of these bad boys soon.
I use my 49" for hammer, and my other two 21" for references and the game

A 49" on your desk, seriously?
I only have the one (19 inch), it's annoying when I have hammer open as I need it maximised.
