Ok so I am learning how to make maps. I was wondering if you could install an addon to be used on the map? Also, will it work if the person downloading it doesn't have said addon? Finally, how?

Make your map itself an addon, and also put lua in there.
As in.
garrysmod\addons\mymap\maps
garrysmod\addons\mymap\lua
garrysmod\addons\mymap\materials
ect...
How do you extract the lua files and such?
What do you mean extract? I'm sure if you know basic lua you should know how to move it around.
I don't know basic lua. Do you? And if so can you provide a link or a quick example?
