sounds like a graphics card issue, update your drivers
sounds like a graphics card issue, update your drivers
Everything was good till my hammer crashed, so i guess its not the problem. BTW second screen is from csgos hammer, and it works perfectly.
I'm still not really understanding your problem.
also i see no crosshair when i toogle z on. Please help me someone :(
this is normal by the way
The 3D Camera view isn't horizontal because you're meant to look at it from all 3 Axis...
The 3D Camera view isn't horizontal because you're meant to look at it from all 3 Axis...
how Edit: lighting preview camera works good. [editline]21st July 2012[/editline]
I'm still not really understanding your problem. this is normal by the way
No this is not. Theres a crosshair in screen no2
Wow...there is a crosshair in the middle of the screen...does it really matter if it isn't there. And like sphinxa said, the 3d view is just that...its a 3d representation of the map. The view is manipulatable, using the camera movement keys.

Hit this button up the top: You have radius culling on.

I thought I saw once it's about maximum visibility or something, but when I look in my 3D view, it has LESS visibility. Seriously, what is it for, it's an even worse tool than carve.

Sdk really sucks, i just turned hypercam on recording mode and its fixed by itself. I know its like wtf...
Sdk really sucks, i just turned hypercam on recording mode and its fixed by itself. I know its like wtf...
It doesn't suck...most of these issues are because of the user, not the program.
And one more question, can anyone explain me the glitch that changes your current texture in black. Only replace of the wall helps you when it happens. Am i doing something wrong or what ?
And one more question, can anyone explain me the glitch that changes your current texture in black. Only replace of the wall helps you when it happens. Am i doing something wrong or what ?
What glitch?
What glitch?
Sometimes textures get dark, dont know why.
Are you using a model texture?
Sometimes textures get dark, dont know why.
Take a screenshot from the exact same view in hammer.

It culls a set radius using the 3D viewport camera as the center of the sphere, and you can see the bounds of the sphere from red circles in the 2D viewports. It clearly doesn't work very well and is about as useful as carve is.

Then it's even WORSE than carve, because carve at least works sometimes on simple stuff like windows and such (but mostly doesn't work at all).
