I'm developing a map that has a copied layout of The Office. I'm not trying to make anything perfect but rather better. Suggest anything you think can be improved and post how too improve upon it. It's about 3/4s done. Use 3 light_spots for your florescent lights.
The wood grain on the cubicles is waaaaaaaay to big. Scale down your texture.
Won't 3 light_spots be expensive on the compiler? Yeah, you're probably right SharpShooter.

It looks pretty bad. The textures are ugly, they don't look like they match each other. The lighting is bland and the brushwork isn't that good. In my opinion.

It's really great that you've pointed out specifically what was wrong and how to fix it like I asked! /Sarcasm Try being helpful instead of a douche bag.

He could of said like "you suck OP, give up, you have no talent" Take his advice and use it. I think it just needs a lighting tweak tbh.
Lighting is bad, fix it.

I guess I'll post on FPSB or something because every time I posted on FP someone has to say something stupid and derails my thread. Kid was an RSfag too, can't believe I let him get to me.
This is probably one of the best maps i've ever seen.

[editline]06:29PM[/editline] and pretty much what everyone else said: -lighting is bland (I've yet to see a 100% white light in real life, there's usually at least a minor tint/shade to it) -Change your lights to light_spots -Texturing is bad in some areas (desks particularly) -Certain objects are blocky (desks and that sink area in the 4th picture) -Rooms are too large, everything is spread out too far. This is especially noticeable in your second picture, but is an issue for most of the map. -Serious lack of detail, all the desks, walls, and floors are empty.
Must have megadesk....
