Zombie Panic! Source - Can't use 2007 engine, but I have made working maps before?

Hey guys,
A few months ago, maybe towards spring of this year, I was working on a cabin map for Zombie Panic! Source. It was coming along, and it loaded in the game perfectly, but then I abandoned it. Well recently I opened up Hammer again, and I tried to start on my map again.
First I tried it on Source Engine 2009, with the correct game config selected. Whenever I would try to edit an existing brush, like the size, it would cause most of the brushes to go black, and the viewports would lose the grids as well. No matter what.
Okay, I did some research, and it seemed like Source Engine 2007 was the only working one at this point for ZPS. I tried that one, but it came up with "Error: No Game Configurations to run with". I guess this is because I don't have the correct game.
I have Half Life 2 Deathmatch, which apperently doesn't meet the requirement. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't "Orangebox" what 2007 used to be called? Because I used to be able to use it. Apperently I used it previously with my other zps maps. So now I am confused how I could before, and now I can't.
I don't own HL2:EP2, or any Orangebox stuff. I may have had HL2:EP2 preloaded, could this have made it work? Anyway I can preload it again?
At some point in time I could use Orangebox, or at the very least compile working ZPS maps, which needed Orangebox, so I have no idea why I can't now.
Sorry for wall of text guys, I am just confused and sad that I can't map for one of my favorite games. I hope you can help me out.
Thanks!
