Rp_Vuoristo is a traditional backtown map by me, wich is set in mountains.
There are several houses in town and small outpost/harbor building outside it.
The map also inclues a small custom built railway (unfortunetly it's too short), and mountainous highlands to build something, but there isn't any path going there, so you'll need to build ramp or something first to get there.
Also |Yucca| retextured those trees.

As stunning as always. Amazing!
Incredible! This is beautiful...
This inspires me to someday get as good as you! =D
You are extremely talented with the art of mapping.
Amazing, I love the theme!
Holy fuck, this is gorgeous.
Really nice map, I always love to see you release such amazing works. One thing though, I seem to be missing the textures of some of the trees. I have Ep2 mounted and I re downloaded from Garrysmod.org and the mirror you posted, still doesn't seem to work.
The map looks really good, but I personally don't really like your choice of skybox texture.
When valve sees this they will delay Ep.3, because their mapping team will be trying to learn from it!
Good lord, this is gorgeous.
Note to self: If I ever start a game design company, offer a job to this guy.
Seriously. You're on a list, along with a few artists and a musician. Should I ever be in a position to hire people to make video games, you're going to get a letter. That's how good this (and Saari, and MountainVillage) are.
guys, this map is visually all nice and shit but i doubt oskutin is any good at gameplay.
it's maps like these that i love to explore,
great job.

So? Sometimes, all you want is something pretty.
This is absolutely beautiful. The best outdoor map I've seen for Gmod. Ever.
I only wish you compiled it in HDR. It would have made an awesome difference.
I used hdr, but for some reason pictures ignore it.

Pictures of the mising trees?
Stunning. Absolutely stunning.
However, I have Ep2, but I appear to be missing some trees. Epic Fortune said similarly, though I'm not sure if the same trees are missing for him as they are for me.

Beautiful map with thousands of small bugs and bad optimization. Nothing new from oskutin.
Also, those who rate me dumb: too bad I'm right on this one.

i would use it if it did not require EP2
This is purely amazing but like Jukka said, you should do some optimization and fix the bugs before doing a release :saddowns: I love that railway and the scenery, absolutely stunning :v:
I'd like this map more if I could play it without it look retarded with the fucked phong and the untextured skybox.
Installed the materials right?
Check the folder.

Those tree textures should be in the zip.
I did.
Extracted twice.
Where did you put the stuff?
In garrysmod/garrysmod.
There was no info.txt so it's logical to put it all there.
Do you have it like this: Gmod/gmod/rp_vuoristo/maps and other
or gmod/gmod/maps and other?
