Hello Facepunch. I'm currently trying to learn mapping again.. I've been playing around for a bit and everything in this map seemed to work perfectly. Then i must have changed something that i really don't know what is and now i got this: Here's my .VMF if someone please would check it out for me and tell me what I'm doing wrong.. http://wikisend.com/download/302444/ar_paper.vmf I'm 100% sure there's no leaks. And I've tried to change the lightmap on the walls ceiling and floor - with no luck that is. :( Thank you.
This tend to happen when you change the appearance of the lights (e.g. Flinking lights)
This tend to happen when you change the appearance of the lights (e.g. Flinking lights)
I haven't. It's set to normal.
You complaining about the specular map alias thing? people circle your problem.
have you tried adding a normal map to the texture?
I dont understand what the problem is.
I think hes referring to the dodgy patterns caused by aliasing in the specularity map. Or it looks that way. See in the 1st image where the texture kinda goes weird. Maybe convert to tga then reconvert to vtf using a different mip filter.
