Anyway I'm working on a new and I actually am using lighting. Its basically a map influenced by mg_smee_tower. Mine is called mg_pool_scng (the title is new...) and it basically takes place in an indoor pool. Here's a poorly made map of how everything should layout: [IMG]http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t402/hlsavior/LAYOUT.png?t=1352339484[/IMG] [I](I forgot to draw maintenance rooms on each side tunnels that lead to the on/off rooms also, as a way to get out.)[/I] As you can see from the map, there are Power on/off options. Well I went a little over board with the lighting since I got so much criticism from it last time and added a way to actually control the lights. At the moment I only have an off switch, and no way to get out of the off switch room. When turning off the lights its more like breaking something because emergency lights turn on. The switch DOES work however. If you want to get to the button there is a clearly distinct area of wall in the pool area which is breakable and is a tunnel to the off room. The only way to get out, is with noclip ATM. It's not much compared to other maps we see around here, but I admire your motivation. Despite not having the backing other mappers usually get, you're dedicating yourself to an idea and pulling through. I can't say it's attractive mapping but it's mapping nonetheless, kudos for getting this far. :smile:

OH SUANA DONT YOU CRY FOR MEEEEEE as a suggestion, make your own skylight instead of the model one. Little detailed fancy things help you with your large architecture later.

But really saying something like that is just dumb. Not saying you're doing this but anybody who wants to get great credit for shitty work just talks about how their shitty creation is ok to be shitty because it's not done.
