Hey, I'm an aspiring mapper, but before I even got into mapping at all with Hammer, I wanted to know if my computer would be able to run it decently. Here are my specs: RAM: 3 Gigabytes of DDR2 CPU: AMD Athlon X2 QL-62 (I have a dual-core processor) Graphics card: ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics I know these are low specs, but I'm pretty poor. I know it wouldn't be perfect, but is it even possible to do Hammer editing with these specs? If not, what specs would you recommend for a minimum?
You should be able to work with hammer with those specs no problem.
well i had specs 1gb RAM 1.86GHZ ATI radeon HD 5570 windows XP and compiling/hammer worked fine so it should work fine
I'm running it on a low-end dual core with an integrated graphics card and 4GB of RAM. Runs surprisingly well, except on very large maps.
I was able to map on a Pentium 4 back in the day. You'll be fine.
