I'm a beginner working on my first map, and I've run into a problem.
Basically, I've created a light_spot entity which doesn't seem to show up in-game.
Here it is in Hammer:

Help appreciated :)
Cheers,

its probably working
light spots are just dim unless you make the brightness high
if you turn off shadows for those props and itll look better, just click the prop then go to disable shadows and dropdown to yes
Use a high brightness, a good starting value is 1000-1500
Don't be afraid to go higher, spots need another standard of value to have the same effect as a simple light.
Nope :(

Never mind, I figured it out.
The light really was working, but the foliage props on the wall simply cannot be affected by it and remain black in that environment.

Disable shadows on the wall foliage.
Yep, that did it. Thanks @Meekal and @Rocketsurgery

The leaves are still a bit dark though.

You could try moving the light up higher. Is the light like a lamp post or something?
As a tip, dont put the center of a light inside an object.
