• What's your content packing program of choice?

I'm looking to pack a fair amount of custom content into my map (mostly a few models and their resources, some textures, a custom sky, and some sounds.) What do you use/would recommend? EDIT: I'm aware of the short list on the wiki, but the VDC wiki is both schizophrenic in consistency, and doesn't quite tell me why or how users would use the program.
I just use pakrat. It works with all the games. using AUTO for some reason breaks things, so I have a separate folder with all my custom stuff then just pack that.
Vide is pretty good, and made by the mapping section moderator.
VIDE is amazing, it has an automatic packing function, too. Also, you can filter several file types while packing.
Have to agree with Vide being great, I've got a whole folder dedicated to custom content and it packs efficiently from it.
Link to VIDE? please?

Thanks guys, I'll look into both. I forget which program I used, but it would automatically parse which game you're mapping for after selecting it from a menu, compare the references in the map to the GCF of said game and HL2's root files, and then search that game's directory for the content not found in the GCF's, filling out everything for you. It worked like a dream until valve fucking deleted my GCF files and refused to give them back. I'm not bitter, I'm not bitter at all! I lost a map I had put 6 months of work into this way and I was /livid./ I guess I just have to come to terms with sticking my custom content into folders and follow the file structure myself.
I have a 50/50 agreement and disagreement on VIDE. You can't alter file path manually (packing BSP files) of which honestly sucks.
BSPZipGUI. Easy, Bug-free (both program and the map where you pack the stuff), and works with any game/mod. https://sites.google.com/site/softdevdy/software/bspzipgui
