• Broken Cubemap Building in Garry's Mod - I'm Stumped

I've been working on a large map for damn near a year now. Took a break mid last year and came back a few months ago. Suddenly, cubemaps simply won't build. This was an issue well known previously, and it could be fixed by deleting the cubemaps that hammer automatically makes during the compile using pakrat. Things seem to be different now. It seems like some materials like cubemaps, and some don't, and models won't take cubemaps at all. Here's an illustration. After the compile and first load within Garry's Mod, textures and models which utilize cubemaps are white, as is usual when cubemaps haven't been built. Sounds like the problem I had. I see you have some water in your map, that may be the cause of the problem. Try putting a water_lod_control, as well as an env_cubemap right next to it, just above the water and see if that helps. If there is multiple bodies of water try just one of them for now.
