Is there anywhere I can get tree and foliage models that fit in with Hal-Life 2 style (not underdetailed, not overdetailed, no super-bright CSS-looking leaves) and I can just place in hammer as a prop_static and it will work? Once I tried one from CSGO in HL2 and EP2 hammer but no matter what I did, the models worked but all the textures were missing textures. So where can I get good-looking HL2 trees that fit in? Because the current tree supply is really repetitive.
The HL2 mod called Resistance and Liberation ([url]http://www.moddb.com/mods/resistance-liberation[/url]) has very good foliage models. If you are gonna release a map with them to the public however, I'd ask for their permission somehow, or at least give credit.
