Can you post what your problem was and how you fixed it ? Someone else might have the same issue.
I have a problem with the model viewer in hammer too. Instead of being green it's black and I can't keep the arrow keys pressed town to scroll... I have to tap it repeatedly which is very annoying.

I'll try it out as soon as I'm home but I can't see how this will fix the "scrolling" issue ... I'll report on it later
