solid block shaped as prop

i am trying to make solid block shaped as this model models/props_wasteland/boat_fishing02a.mdl but its hard any tips or trick?

i haven't tried this but would making a brush with the block light texture covering the prop do it ?

shaped, you mean you want a rough replica of the model?

Put the prop in hammer, and build brushes around it, it will probably be hard to do like the model, as such models are made in 3d modelling tool
