Alright, once again I am back with another issue. This time, it's much more serious.
Every time I save the map now, all of the area portals glitch out and say they are not connected to anything. I made a video demonstrating what happens.

I have absolutely no idea why it is doing this. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Thank you!
from the look of it your using the areaportal wrong instead filling the whole corrider you'd have them just at the door ways and any windows the video was to zoomed in for a good look but i'd say you would be better using an occular in that area
Not sure exactly what could be causing it, but try verifying gmods game cache. I had some equally confusing issues in the Portal 2 authoring tools with perfectly normal vmfs, and I was able to fix it by verifying Portal 2s' game cache and reinstalling the authoring tools.
