How can I go about fixing this lighting bug? It's really annoying me..:cry:

The lighting just doesn't want to work sometimes when I restart the map. (Sometimes it works as expected like in the third image)

Eh, I'm just using the [I]metal2[/I] texture. I haven't learned about editing textures/materials yet so I just use the hl2 ones.
post a compile log and the light entity details :)
Just switched the texture to [I]metal/citadel_tilefloor01[/I] and everything is all good now.

metal2 -> metal6 are textures for models. They will not work correctly when applied to brushes. All of the "Phoenix_storms" textures are model textures.
