I'm frustrated. I've been trying to do freelance web work for a really long time. I can only get the occasional project. So what are your guys' techniques on getting more work? Here are some of my designs.

Is it because I'm terrible? I just don't know.
Not the best, not the worst. Try to put together a portfolio to give out to potential clients if you're short of work to put in it, try doing some free work for some local not-for-profit organizations.
You need to work on your skills if you want to be hired
Your designing skills are a little bit lacking. You'll want to do a few free/low paying jobs to make a portfolio. You can try going around to local stores and asking if they want a website developed.
