I have made an addon, which aims to fix the ragdoll crashes in TTT.
It is pretty simple, like most of my addons, but it works.
I didnt encounter any crashes, since I have made this up. (Maybe svdm wants to merge this someday into main TTT)

Your script will only work if ttt_ragdoll_collide is true, which is not the case by default: garrysmod/corpse.lua at bece6cc34eec88f058de722ebf3008521a4bc62e..
It is the collision group COLLISION_GROUP_DEBRIS_TRIGGER which is causing the crashes.
We are forcing it to COLLISION_GROUP_WEAPON which is not causing any crashes after a lot of time of several testings.
The only use for this render group however was to not collide with other ragdoll entities / triggers and weapons.
I tried to reconstruct this behaviour.
I didn't make weapons non colliding or triggers, because it would suck in playing TTT.
