I run rust on a Surface Pro 3 Laptop. I know some of you are gonna reply and be like "hey why dont you just get a good computer" but thats not an option.
On lowest settings while on 2160x1140 resolution I get an average of 4 fps
On lowest settings while on 512x384 I get an average of 15-20fps
As you can tell I run the game on 512x384 (its the lowest resolution that i can read digits on)...
...however when first loading the game or loading into a sever if i alt tab, click or do anything other than wait (this includes while in queue) the game will automatically reset to 2160x1140 and I have to restart it. This has happened to me several times after waiting for a 50man queue and then having to re queue. Can someone please tell me how to fix this issue. Thanks
I can't believe what i have read. but ok.
Change your settings before you enter the game and while ingame check your settings. Quit the game and launch it again and again check your settings before and after the game opens. Also, Disable "borderless fullscreen / windowed" if enabled.
If your settings stayed the same after you restarted the game then only join a server. If not, guy a better PC
