So im playing rust for some time now and seen some changes to the game. some good some not so good (my opinion). I'm mostly a casual gamer because my time is limited. so i made peace with the game that i wont make it to the end of the wipe or have the end game weapons. moreover, the new update with scrap made the game so much of a grind and i will never touch an ak or ladder hatch again. In the last wipe i played, people were litteraly running the first minutes to the military tunnels just to get the best loot in the begining of the game and than camping the best radtowns for the rest of the wipe. I honestly think bringing the exp system back will make the game more fair and even maybe a bit more survivaly. in my opinion the exp system gave everybody the same change for getting better weapons and even a armourd door. u just had to play, farm and fight. the component system and workbenches could still be in place and used for scrap for the fastness of crafting. Radtowns will still be a great place for components and search for really high tier weapons or other things. What are your thoughts? Be nice if u comment plz.
Yes. Stoboj it is possible to agree. here look. what I think. I need to spend a lot of time. to run. then again as much to run after another. simple in the game little time. it was possible to limit the old system to the prince. where you just had to write a recipe, a drawing. . I asked the developers to speed up the run. many things in the house are dangerous to change.
lol.
1) you will always make it to the end of the wipe, as that is a server-side event and does not affect you in any way 2) If you think you "must" have end game weapons - you probably have a lot to learn about the game still. Tier 2 weapons (semi-rifle or python) are perfectly fine... depending on what you're trying to do, but especially as a solo (which is what it sounds like you are) you don't need an AK. A solo player with an AK is just a "loot pinata" for a team/zerg especially if he is clue-less 3) Ladder hatch is a tier 2 item... (not hard to get/research) and to be honest those are not required at all (and can make your base weak, if used incorrectly) Finally - you can get an AK off of stupid/nooby players who don't understand how the game works (who don't know the "meta")
Listen. I am a casual player myself. Having a full time job makes it difficult to spend hours a week playing the game (there is other stuff I want to do). From my point of view rust is not about ending with the end game weapons. It is about doing what you want. There have been months when I would never get my hands on an AK. Sometimes wipes I focus on running a shop, others I do some raiding, other times I just run around playing a guitar and talking to people. That is what makes rust great from perspective. There is no score system. There is no goal system. You set your own goals.
Sorry nothing to do with the post but just wanted to say I like the dog in the picture Elosan
The xp system was terrible. YOu needed to grind for two weeks straight to get good guns. For people who just wanna pvp this was terrible
change is comming to that, rust is not a "just pvp" game.
Thank you.
