posting in a self-deprecating manner won't earn you pity points - you should already know from the scene's subject matter that there is no such thing as "mercy".
the contrast of yellow and slight purple works. composition is good enough.
the picture doesn't need to be so huge though, you should really have scaled it down to eliminate the pixelated edges. and you still need to get shadows working somehow.
