Have you considered looking around for solutions? If you bothered looking around before whining you'd have discovered that the site supports custom themes and there's two comprehensive ones already done, one of which replicates the theme from the old forums.
I quite like the new forum honestly, especially the dark look, but to each their own. Sorry you don't like it. Consider custom CSS, as Alice said?

This forum is functionally 100% better. Old FP uses a version of VBulletin, which is mostly shite.
Old FP uses a highly modified verison of VBulletin, which is even worse. Things have been hacked together on the old forum, with this new one that's custom built, any new features can be implemented in the correct way
