[Suggestion/bug?] With Show HUD off, let me see my inventory slots with Tab

I'd like to play this game with the HUD turned off, except that I cannot tell which items I have in my inventory slots.
Pressing Q or Tab with the HUD off lets me see my inventory/crafting, which is great, but inventory slots do not show up.
Please change it so that with Show HUD off, the inventory slots will show up along the inventory when I press tab.

I mean...I think you might be the only one using it this way (and looking for this change/feature), so its probably like the last thing on their list...

I'd personally see no benefit from this, if it was ever implemented (not trying to sound selfish, but just saying)

With HUD turned off, do you just drag your weapons into the empty space and remember which key they are on then?

It gets kinda confusing with 6 different slots.

I'm pretty sure this is a bug. Like I said, when pressing Q/Tab the inventory/crafting menu is brought up still, just the inventory slots are still invisible.
