• Help me, poor performance after leaving EA

So i have a laptop Lenovo Y520 with i5 kaby lake, 8 gb ram and 1050ti. But i have poor performance after leaving ea. I think this is because of graphics overhaul. Someoane have some idea how i can optimize this game better.
Just chimed in to say that i have the same problem, from 60+ fps to 10-20 fps and some times just straightup 2 fps. ive got Asus ROG gl752vw.
i have the same problem
Same problem here, ever since this release my CPU has overheated every time I play Rust. I have an i5-4670K. Was working fine with great FPS before this release, now I can't play at all. Please fix! Can't play until then. Tried going all the way down to potato quality, no luck. All 4 CPU cores overheat at 100 Celsius within minutes of playing, every time.
Same issue, have been playing for 600+ hours and 40-60fps and now 11fps and this is on the lowest settings. One thing i noticed is that once i turn towards trees, like a forest my frames instantly drop. And the items at a short distance take a while to load.

My CPU vs the "minimum" i7: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-3770-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4670K This is not my computer's fault. This is the result of Rust's "graphics overhaul" in the leaving-EA update.
