Before the ban wave Rust probably had a 50% of its player base cheating this can range from scripts to actual hacks. Now I got banned for having a recoil script and nobody is going to believe this but I only used them when the 20 man Korean cheating zerg would come over to either raid us or grief the shit out of us, they're walking around server esp raiding aimbotting and they're not being banned and STILL NOT BANNED because they have private cheats that are undetectable, now if youre a legit player youre going to get absolutely steam rolled by these guys and I only thought it was fair to fight fire with fire so i got some scripts and started fighting back against the Koreans because otherwise we would be forced to just stop playing or farm a SHIT TON and its just hack vs hack game and still is because private cheats are being used by at least 15% of its players, but when I would roam it would be turned off because if I start scripting against normal players then I'm just apart of the problem right I only used it so I could stand a fair chance against cheating cunts. And I am punished with the same severity as the guys that are straight up aimbotting and esping. at least let me sell my fucking $144 inventory yeah I made the wrong decision but it was either that to get shit on over and over and over again by cheaters and this is the only game I play so I didn't want to quit because I didn't know how long it would take face punch to improve their anti cheat and it took a long fucking time. All I am asking is let me sell my fucking skins please dont deserve losing $144 all because I decided to fight fair against the cheaters who weren't getting banned. If Official servers had active admins listening to the reports and actually take time to look at the player everyone is complaining about then I would never have had to get recoil scripts would never have had a reason to but you know there are 2 faults to this whole shit but I'm going to be seen as the cheating scumbag all because I wanted to stand a chance against cheaters.

Yeah, I don't buy it. I've played Rust Since Legacy not once have I been tempted to use cheats. The only cheat I ever used was Gamma boosting. which I am Thankful is a minor thing now.

In all of my entire on-line gaming life have i once thought about using cheats. I cannot believe how mainstream it is. I'd love to see some reports on the number of players banned. I hope it doesn't kill the game considering how many cry babies there are on the forums.

There is no way to distinguish big-asshole-cheaters from anti-cheater-vigilante-cheater, so everyone who uses cheats, regardless on whom, deserves to be banned.
If someone cheats, dont counter with other cheats, report, and run somewhere else ingame.

The best way to counter cheaters is to record them so you have solid proof.
Also I think there should be a subforum for posting video proof of cheaters and ban people for 1 day from the forum if they spam that section wit threads of hackusations without providing evidence.

Not talking to all of you but some of you are retarded. I'm not saying cheats are ok. I never used my cheats on people who are just better than me, I used them on cheating koreans not normal players, koreans that triple hs me from 200m time and time again, we swapped servers, they followed us, we changed our names and changed servers again they still followed us somehow you see why I got frustrated and got a recoil script so I could fight against these cunts? you cant simply record them esp raiding because they will want solid evidence and them raiding isn't solid evidence, if the admins cant tell when half the server complain about them then idk why will get them banned.
I have been playing since legacy too, only got scripts recently because I got fed up of the amount of cheaters. they fucking followed me and my group from server to server and my argument isn't saying my cheats were to fight cheaters unban me, I just dont think I should be on the same level of ban as the rest of the people who get banned for Aimbot, esp and fly hack. Maybe just a year ban or something then if I do it again then perma ban but perma ban those who use actual hacks rather than scripts not saying they're ok again but they're not on the same severity level.
I know none of you will see where I'm coming from because your brain doesn't have the ability to see things from my point of view cant just "run the other way in game" or "swap servers" when they fucking follow us everywhere and the cunts have esp so no matter where I run in game they're going to see where I am lmao
If you encountered these Korean cheaters as much as you say you did then why weren't you shadow playing your encounters and sending them to the devs?
You cheated, that's all there is to be said. There is no such thing as justified cheating in multiplayer games.
