• What will the loot table for scientists be?

I just want some examples of what they will drop and what the percentages will be.
i got a 3 gears from one
From the loot I've got from them to date, seems to be anything from what you might get from a barrel to what you might get from a couple of standard junk pile crates minus scrap or useful BP items. Fairly similar to the Halloween murderers. I was hoping https://Rustlabs.com would list them by now, but not yet.
t they should drop guns.. i mean.. their guns just go "poof" when ever they die
I played on a Terminus/Zombie server just before last patch. They enabled scientist then, but they were on the outside of mil tuns, not inside. The Scientists on that server initially dropped their weapons. Within 30 mins or so of fresh server wipe, people were roaming with dropped LRs, MP5s and pump shotguns. It was pretty game breaking in terms of weapon progression, even on this server. (This server used modified Terminus loot tables that only allowed guns to be found in crates/boxes, instead of popping an M9 from a barrel.) On a vanilla server, it would ruin everything.

That is what I am worried about as well. If they drop guns, people may get guns far too early, and break the game. However, I do agree not having access to the gun does not make since. To help fix this, there are a couple ideas. A new "un-useable" is added. When a player picks it up, the description gives a reason why it cant be used. It states something like below... - "Every time you touch the gun, you feel a painful electric shock. Luckily it does not appear to injure you." - "the weapon appears to be damages beyond repair. It looks as if something detonated from inside the gun upon the scientist's death." This would mean that the gun can only be scrapped for parts or metal. Not only would this help explain why the players can't use it, but also add to the story of Rust. What do you all think?
^ Is a good idea!
Nifty thinking but I think they already have an idea once they are in game and debugged... Did you think they've already debugged them or something?
