In depth modding tools! Because the plugin creation community is huge, so is the modded server playerbase. Personally i avoid vanilla when i can as it is just such an intense grind. Imagine if this game had half the modding potential gmod had/has. As a server owner i think this would be a great way to extend the game's life span and the ability of servers to distinguish themselves.
