Ive checked my binds and everything but whenever i hit X to talk in gmod it wont do anything please help me
Wrong forum, but post your console log when the game starts.
You could reset your binds in controls. And set your binds again. (Could take a while if you have a lot)
Try the following:
Check your drivers (headphones, mic, whatever.)
Triple check your binds
Enable it ingame through options>audio>enable voice
Set your microphone you want as your default communication device
Make sure the server has microphones enabled
