I use a Logitech mouse, never used scripts, will I be banned?

So the strong impression I have is owners of Logitech hardware are getting banned.
I didn't even realise my Logitech mouse could use scripts until recently. I have no idea how to set them up, nor any interest in doing so because I want to get better at the game. I don't see any point in cheating.
How can I ensure Facepunch won't ban me just for having a Logitech mouse?
The game isn't going to ban someone over using hardware. That'd be the shittiest form of prevention. Even the software for the mouse would only trigger something if it was running, so just don't run or program it and you'd be fine. Even then, you should be fine.
yeah im pretty sure the wave ban is over
No you wont, I've been running a logitech mouse with logitech software for a long time. I havent been banned because im not using the mouse to run recoil scripts.
The people that come on here and complain about getting banned for "having logitech software on my PC" have been using scripts they probably downloaded to counter recoil. if youre not using it to cheat, you wont get banned.
I've been using a logitech mouse since I started playing rust and I have the logitech software , I've never set up any macros though.
From what I gathered while reading the EAC FAQ , I think if EAC detects that you have a macro that can control your mouse movement (I don't even know if it can detect that )It won't ban you but disconnect you from secure servers with an error message .
I don't know if that's the case that's just the impression I got from reading the FAQ .
I also use logitech mouse , keyboard and software. My mouse even has dpi-changing buttons on it, using them to change dpi in game for lets say: accurate building placement, or higher dpi while looting, won't affect you.
They probaly found a privat cheat / script, that works on logitech software instead of the game software itself, now got detected, and trying to get rust / eac/ steam on a wrong path claiming it's something wrong with the logitech software.
Why else would they blame logitech instantly?
Why else would logitech not react with a software update if their software is causing glitches and bans on games? Normaly they will , because otherwise they loose customers and future profit.
i use 16000 dpi on my mouse
Yeah I figured people would use logitech as a scapegoat to try to get their bans lifted , saw the hackers blaming autohotkey in the same way.
